Britney Spears asked fans to choose her next single to reward them for their years of support.
The Toxic hitmaker announced earlier this year (11) she planned to release a fourth track from her Femme Fatale album, and she held a poll on her Facebook.com page so fans could vote for their favourite.
The majority opted for catchy pop song Criminal, and Spears will honour her promise by releasing it as her new single next month (Oct11).
She tells British TV show This Morning, "It was chosen by the fans. It was just cool to give something back to them and see what they would appreciate."
Spears has been filming scenes for the Criminal video in London this week (beg19Sep11).
