Beyonce makes Forbes' Most Powerful Women in Media and Entertainment list

Beyonce has been named among the top Most Powerful Women in Media and Entertainment in a new Forbes poll.

The superstar mother-of-three is the highest-placed artist on the 2017 countdown at four, while Taylor Swift lands at number 12, and actress Priyanka Chopra takes 15th spot.

Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour leads the annual poll, with NBCUniversal network chair Bonnie Hammer at two and 20th Century Fox CEO Stacy Snider at three.

Other notables on the list include Lucasfilms president and Star Wars franchise producer Kathleen Kennedy at 10, and Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling at 13.
