2022 Vanity Fair Oscars Party Fashion Round-Up!

Written by Jordyn McEvoy. Published: March 28 2022

If the Oscars red carpet was all about chic mystique and bold color choices, the Vanity Fair party was sleek, heavily stylized, and packed with dramatic looks up to the stars’ perfectly maintained eyelashes. Amongst the glitz and glamour, the biggest question remains: who was rocking what kind of couture? Here are all the looks we can't stop obsessing over!

1. Dakota Johnson

Johnson looked nothing short of magical in her feathered pink Gucci dress. Starting with an almost-beige lavender, the dress creeps down into layers of pink and grays, with hints of mauve underneath her skirt. The shimmering, opulent detailing on the front of the dress makes for a stunning look.

2. Anya Taylor-Joy

Wearing this ruffled Dior corset is fitting for the Last Night in Soho star, as she was announced as Dior’s latest brand ambassador in October of 2021 and she’s been a fashion powerhouse since her red carpet beginnings. The black skirt and intriguing drape of tulle serving as a mask created a captivating moment for Taylor-Joy.

3. Timothée Chalamet

Also choosing to make the all-black statement, Chalamet wore head-to-toe Alexander McQueen leather. This look was styled in an almost-casual road jacket and working pants design, complete with sterling silver detailing.

4. Jessica Chastain

Our newest Best Actress draped herself in liquid emerald; the shimmering Gucci dress created a captivating illusion of light and perfectly gathered fabric. The green complimented Chastain’s infamous red hair, and there is no better accessory than a brand-new Oscar statuette!

5. Daisy Edgar-Jones

Edgar-Jones chose to stray from the devastatingly debonair dress code of the night with a bright lime and pink dress with a houndstooth-inspired pattern. The Versace dress also included a peach corset and some strategically-placed black straps, creating an all-too alluring silhouette for the Fresh star.

6. Sydney Sweeney

Sporting the most interesting bodice of the night, Sweeney wore a stunning Miu Miu dress made of a silver and diamond-encrusted checked pattern with a lilac silk skirt. Completing the look with beautiful purple diamond earrings and perfect wispy bangs, the "Euphoria" star was as classically beautiful as ever.

7. Sofia Coppola

Famed aesthetic director Sofia Coppola wore a charming Chanel gown made of black tulle and a corset-like illusion. The dress was covered in silver five-point stars and cinched in at the waist with a beautiful diamond chain belt.

The Vanity Fair party was held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills and hosted by the culture-defining magazine’s editor-in-chief, Radhika Jones.
