Jaden Smith made sure his After Earth co-star Zoe Kravitz was fully looked after on set by presenting her with a brand new, roomy trailer after she made a joke about how tiny her mobile home was compared to his luxury bus.
The Karate Kid star and his father, Will Smith, each had a state-of-the-art double decker vehicle delivered to the shoot so they could relax in total comfort in between scenes, but Zoe Kravitz had to make do with a modest space - until the now-14 year old decided to do something about it.
The actress explains, "They have matching double decker buses next to each other. (My trailer is) like a little tiny wagon... But there was this one time I was having lunch with Jaden in his trailer and I made some joke, I was like, 'Oh this is nice, did you see my trailer?' And he goes, 'Yeah?' I was like, 'No, it's really small'.
"The next day I show up to work and I have this amazing, beautiful, star trailer, like with a bedroom in it, and I go inside and there's flowers and I open the fridge and it's full of soda and I have a note from Jaden saying, 'This is your new trailer.'"
And the generous and thoughtful gesture made quite an impression on Lenny Kravitz's 24-year-old daughter: "I was like, a 13 year old just gave me (this trailer)! He's a gentleman."
