It turned out to to be gallstones, and the Rehab singer paid a visit to her father to provide him with some comfort food as he recovers in hospital.
It is believed Mitch will undergo keyhole surgery to remove the gallstones at the weekend (14/15Aug10).
Mitch's rep says, "He's making a swift recovery and will be back on his feet and hopefully continuing with his shows in a few weeks."
