Australian actress Sophie Monk has dismissed rumours she is dating Sam Worthington, insisting the Avatar star is just helping her develop a new TV project.
The two Aussies were rumoured to have struck up a romantic relationship in recent months, but Monk is adamant they are just spending time together to work on a new TV show.
Monk tells Australian radio station Fox FM, "'We're very close, but we're not dating. He's a good friend. I really like him. He's just really down to earth and really... Australian.''
She goes on to reveal the pair's TV project will be a comedy show based on her life story, adding, "We are pitching for the Australian market... a sitcom about my life that is kind of like a cross between Curb Your Enthusiasm and Sex and the City."
