The Jar of Hearts singer took to Twitter to share the happy news with fans, sharing a picture of her and her new fiance alongside the caption: "Paul asked me to marry him tonight and i said yes!"
In another snap, 30-year-old Christina showed off her diamond engagement ring, which boasts an unusual V shape, along with the same caption.
Meanwhile, on-air host Paul also took to social media to share his delight that the star had accepted his proposal.
Alongside a picture of himself giving Christina a kiss on the cheek as she beamed in delight, Paul wrote: "I knew I wanted to ask this girl to marry me the day she walked into the green screen for an interview almost 4 years ago. I finally asked her right here tonight and she said yes!!!"
Christina previously dated Broadway actor Steve Kazee, who also featured on her 2011 single A Thousand Years.
