Simon Cowell is a dad - his girlfriend Lauren Silverman has given birth to the couple's first child.
The 36-year-old new mom welcomed a baby boy at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York on Friday (14Feb14).
Music and TV mogul Cowell dashed across the Atlantic from London when he heard Silverman had gone into labour on Friday morning, so he could be by her side for the delivery.
The boy is the 54 year old's first child and Silverman's second - she also has an eight year old son with her ex-husband Andrew Silverman.
