Sia urged Kanye West to refrain from using fur ahead of his Yeezy Season 5 showcase in New York on Wednesday (15Feb17).
The Chandelier singer tweeted the rapper and designer before his much-anticipated clothing showcase and encouraged him to go “fur free”
She also posted footage of the steps taken to obtain fur for items of fashion, including graphic video clips of rabbits being hanged and slaughtered.
"This is the reality of fur for fashion - it's so sad," Sia captioned the post.
Many of West's designs have featured fur.
Sia is an avid supporter of animal rights and routinely partners with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) for campaigns highlighting creature cruelty.
