Pop star Selena Gomez is to accept a special honor at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards.
The former Disney star has been named the recipient of the Ultimate Choice Award and will be presented with the surfboard trophy during the prizegiving in California on Sunday (10Aug14).
The Ultimate prize is in recognition of her contributions to the entertainment world.
Previous winners include Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
