Actress Melody Thomas Scott is suing an insurance company for allegedly failing to pay more than $50,000 after her home was flooded.
The Young and the Restless star claims her house in Beverly Hills, California was wrecked in a 2010 rainstorm, but executives at the Mid-Century Insurance Company reportedly rejected her claim, insisting water damage was not covered by her policy.
Scott and her husband, Edward, have now filed a lawsuit at Los Angeles County Superior Court in a bid to recoup the money they spent repairing the house, according to TMZ.com.
