The soul star was billed to headline the Vevo Halloween bash in Manchester, England but pulled the plug on the gig via posts on Twitter.com and Facebook.com.
The Stay With Me star wrote, "I've totally lost my voice and the doctors have advised against it. I'm so sorry but hope you all have a great time."
