British singer Sam Smith is aiming for a collaboration with Chris Brown after the R&B star posted a parody of his track Stay With Me online.
Brown uploaded a video of himself singing a humorous version of Smith's song on his Instagram.com page last week (ends17Aug14), and the music newcomer admits he was impressed with the cover.
Speaking to British radio show In:Demand at V Festival in the U.K., Smith voiced his hope that the video will pave the way for a collaboration, saying, "It was amazing, I love it. It's really weird because I'm a massive fan of his music. I love Chris Brown's music so much, yeah. I'd love to meet him so possibly, who knows? It would be cool to collaborate."
