Russell Brand has confirmed reports he proposed to Katy Perry over the New Year (10).
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star and Katy Perry have been enjoying a romantic Christmas trip in India, with the I Kissed A Girl hitmaker regularly updating her Twitter.com page with photos from their holiday.
Reports surfaced that the pair would be returning from their travels as man and wife-to-be, after the couple underwent a traditional Indian blessing on New Year's Eve (31Dec09).
And Russell Brand has confirmed he proposed to Katy Perry on the last day of 2009, telling The Sun newspaper: "It's true. Much love."
It's been a whirlwind romance for the pair - they only started dating in September (09) after meeting at the MTV Video Music Awards.
