Queen Latifah confirms Super Bowl date

Queen Latifah is heading back to the Super Bowl to sing America the Beautiful.

A day after she officiated 33 weddings at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as part of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' showstopping set at the Grammy Awards, the rapper-turned-actress and TV personality has confirmed she's packing her warmest clothes for a date at the Super Bowl in her native New Jersey on Sunday (02Feb14).

Queen Latifah last performed the song at Super Bowl XLIV four years ago (10).

Opera star Renee Fleming will belt out the National Anthem before the game, while Bruno Mars will be joined by the Red Hot Chili Peppers for the half-time show.
