Pregnant actress Natalie Portman is backing a campaign to help mums around the world create a better future for their loved ones.
The Black Swan star, who is expecting her first child with fiance Benjamin Millepied this summer (11), and Zoe Saldana are supporting The Foundation for International Community Assistance's (FINCA) Lend A Hand initiative, which provides small loans to females to help support their family.
In a statement, Portman - FINCA's Ambassador of Hope - says, "I'm so proud to serve with FINCA in helping impoverished women become self-sustaining."
Saldana adds, "There are so many women in the world who are less fortunate, and struggling to provide for their families."
