Hip-hop superstar Pharrell Williams has won two prizes for his innovative fashion and music endeavours at the annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity conference in France.
The Oscar nominated hitmaker took to his Twitter.com blog on Wednesday (18Jun14) to celebrate the news that his Raw for the Oceans jeans collection, which was designed from recycled plastic in collaboration with bosses at G-Star Raw and Bionic Yarn, had been selected by event officials at the Grand Prix Awards.
He wrote, "Proud that @gstarRAW and @bionicyarn won the first Product Grand Prix award for our eco-clothing line".
Williams also shared his joy after learning his interactive 24hoursofhappy website, which allows fans to share their own versions of his hit Happy promo, had been declared another winner.
He tweeted, "I'm honored 24hoursofhappy.com won the Cyber Grand Prix award at #CannesLions".
