Nicki Minaj is mourning the loss of a young superfan who lost her battle with cancer on Monday (08Dec14).
Earlier this year (14), the Superbass hitmaker was introduced to six-year-old Miyah Telemaque-Nelson after basketball pro John Wall launched an online campaign to help the cancer patient meet her idol.
Wall's efforts worked, as Minaj happily agreed to meet with Telemaque-Nelson, was who suffering from Burkitt's lymphoma, and their hang out was well-documented on the rapper's Instagram page.
However, Minaj took to the photo sharing site on Monday to share the sad news of her young fan's passing, posting a collage of pictures of the tot, including one in which she is wearing a pink wig alongside her idol.
Minaj added the caption, "I can't believe this little angel is gone. When I met her she was recovering. Sending love to her mother and family and John (Wall). This is heartbreaking. She was so full of life. RIP Miyah."
