One Direction star Niall Horan has split from his Australian girlfriend, according to a U.K. report.
The Irish singer is believed to have met Melissa Whitelaw during the pop group's tour Down Under last year (14) and they have been rumoured to have been a couple since they were spotted together in London in April (15).
However, a new report suggests the long-distance romance has now come to an end.
A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "Niall and Melissa did well to keep their romance low-profile during their time together. They were really close and had fun whenever they went out together. But realistically they always knew it was going to be tough, keeping a relationship going with such distance between them. He now intends to focus totally on the band."
