Mr. Hudson has apologised to fans for cancelling a show in Manchester, England to appear on Saturday Night Live - insisting the opportunity was too great to pass up.
The British singer, Kanye West's protege, was set to play at the Manchester Club Academy on Saturday (08May10) but pulled out of the gig when Jay-Z asked him to join a performance of their hit Forever Young during the rapper's guest spot on the hit show.
In a post on his Facebook.com page on Saturday, the star writes, "Apologies to my Manc (Manchester) people. Stupidly big opportunity w (with) Jay-Z tonight in NYC. Will make it up to ya!"
And in a subsequent message, the Supernova hitmaker adds, "Thanks for all the love from new friends in USA. Thanks to Jay-Z for getting me on SNL. Life changing stuff perhaps!!! I'm speechless."
The Manchester concert has been rescheduled for 18 May (10).
