Mischa Barton was left stranded in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (08May10) after her vintage Cadillac broke down.
The actress parked her car at the city's The Grove mall after a drive around Hollywood, but when she later tried to head for home, her classic car failed to start.
After enlisting a pal to check the engine, Barton had no choice but to call a mechanic and when the workman failed to fix the problem, the vehicle was removed by a tow truck.
The former The O.C. star bought the bright blue Cadillac for a reported $15,000 in February (10).
