The House That Built Me hitmaker was eating a shrimp seafood dish when she became violently ill and started vomiting.
Miranda Lambert is now replenishing her body's vital minerals and nutrients with Pedialyte in a bid to bounce back as quickly as possible.
Posting a photo of a big bottle of the children's re-hydrating beverage on her Twitter.com account on Sunday (08Jan12), she writes, "Food poisoning... take this. That was a near death experience. No more shrimp for me."
