British singer Michelle Heaton has welcomed a baby boy.
The Liberty X star gave birth to a son on Friday (28Feb14). The baby is her second child with her husband, Irish businessman Hugh Hanley.
Confirming the news on Twitter.com, she writes, "Thank you all so much for your well wishes. Mine & Hugh Hanley little boy (sic) is snuggled into us and we are the happiness (sic) parents ever."
Hanley adds, "Our little man arrived this morning at 8.49am. My beautiful wife was amazing, I'm so proud of her. Both are doing great."
The couple is already parents to a two-year-old daughter, Faith.
The new arrival comes after a series of health setbacks in recent years for Heaton, who has undergone heart surgery, as well as a double mastectomy after doctors diagnosed her with a gene linked to breast cancer.
