Maxwell Nearly Ruined Berry's Dress

R&B singer Maxwell was left red-faced after accidentally tipping his drink over Halle Berry at a glamorous New York City party on Wednesday (17Nov10).

The actress nearly suffered an outfit disaster at a post-premiere party for her latest movie Frankie And Alice when Maxwell spilled his berry-colored cocktail on her Christian Louboutin heels, narrowly missing her cream dress.

But the soul star insists Berry was gracious about the mishap and even posed for photos after assistants helped clean up the mess.

He tells the New York Daily News, "Halle has an invisible force field of goodness around her. Here's to the people who will retouch that photo."
