Hardaway, a former heroin addict, also alleged she had been involved in another violent altercation with the 24-year-old singer on Monday (27Sep10), in which she claims she feared for her life.
A police report detailing Monday's incident, obtained by TMZ.com, states Mario pushed his mum "eight feet into a living room wall, where Ms. Hardaway hit her head on the wall".
The singer, full name Mario Dewar Bennett, was released on $50,000 bond and he was subsequently charged with assault.
Mario's lawyer, William 'Hassan' Murphy III, admits the arrest occured after "an unfortunate incident" between a loving son and his mother, who has struggled to stay sober.
