A Massachusetts man has been arrested for allegedly making threats against Orlando Bloom's model wife Miranda Kerr.
Steven C. Swanson was taken into custody on Wednesday (19Jun13) after he called the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department to alert police he was planning to travel to California next month (Jul13) to shoot and kill the Australian beauty at her home.
Cops searched Swanson's residence and found photographs of Kerr littered all over his home - but no weapons.
The 52 year old pleaded not guilty to a charge of making a threat concerning a firearm at the Barnstable District Court and he is currently undergoing a psychiatric evaluation, reports local publication the Cape Cod Times.
Swanson's bail has been set at $8,000 (GBP5,161). He is due back in court on 19 July (13).
