The 12 Years A Slave star wore a custom-made white Calvin Klein gown, adorned with 6,000 pearls and valued at around $150,000, to the glitzy Hollywood prizegiving, but TMZ.com reports the actress later called police to report it missing.
Editors of the site suggest the garment disappeared from the actress' room at The London West Hollywood hotel in California on Tuesday (24Feb15) and police have launched an investigation.
