British singer Lily Allen plucked up the courage to approach Kanye West at a fashion event in New York in May (14) to make peace with him over her Sheezus album title.
The pop star named her latest record after West's 2013 offering Yeezus, and she feared the rapper would be angry with her when he found out.
Allen spent months fretting about his reaction, and was relieved when she finally got the chance to meet him at the recent Met Gala in New York City.
The Smile star tells The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Australian radio station KIIS 1065, "He was (good about it). I think when you're in the public eye, you know how things get misinterpreted. When I saw him (I wanted) just to let him know that there was nothing underhand going on and it was all very positive and it was a sign of respect rather than anything else and he responded to that."
