The 40 Year Old Virgin star took part in a shoot for Elle magazine, modeling a variety of designer dresses during the picture-taking session.
However, one particular shot went seriously wrong when the photographer asked Mann to jump up and down while wearing a long, flowing gown.
She landed badly and snapped her toe, and was subsequently forced to wear a cast on her foot while the injury healed
Mann tells the magazine, "I felt like such a dork. I'm leaping, and the fans were blowing, and the dress would fly up, and I was barefoot. "
