Lauryn Hill welcomes sixth child

Lauryn Hill has given birth to her sixth child.

The former Fugees star welcomed a baby boy on Saturday (23Jul11), but the birth was not without drama, according to BlackCelebKids.com.

A source tells the website, "Mother and baby are fine. (She) had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. All is well now and everyone is happy."

The star announced her latest pregnancy in June (11), but has yet to reveal the identity of the father.

Lauryn Hill already has five children with her on/off boyfriend Rohan Marley.
