Kenan Thompson is a first-time dad

Actor Kenan Thompson is a first-time dad.

The former child star-turned-Saturday Night Live regular and his model wife, Christina Evangeline, welcomed baby girl Georgia Marie Thompson on Friday (20Jun14) in New York, according to TMZ.com.

This is the first child for the couple, who wed in November, 2011.

The funnyman confirmed reports he was set to become a father in March (14), when he told former SNL castmate-turned-U.S. chat show host Seth Meyers, "I'm about to be a daddy! That's right! Papa Kenan.

"I am terrified. I don't know what to do with babies. Like, what do you feed it and, like, put it away or something? I plan to be, like, at the casino when she's giving birth."
