Former Destiny'S Child star Kelly Rowland was rescued off the coast of Massachusetts on Friday (19Jul13) after her private whale watching boat was pushed too far out to sea.
The Survivor hitmaker was on a sightseeing trip with four other pals when they lost control of the boat due to strong winds and were forced to call the Coast Guard at the Stellwagen National Marine Sanctuary for help.
Officials escorted the group back to Provincetown later that evening and according to local publication Wicked Local, the singer and her friends were unharmed.
Rowland put the ordeal behind her on Saturday (20Jul13) with a shopping trip to local furniture shops, according to UsMagazine.com.
