Singer Kelly Rowland helped raise almost $800,000 for the homeless in Australia with a special concert over the weekend (09-10May15).
The former Destiny's Child star jetted in to Melbourne on Saturday (09May15) to perform at a fundraiser for the Magpie Nest Housing Project to provide properties for homeless families.
The event raised $790,000, and Rowland tells Australia's Herald Sun newspaper, "I was delighted to... support a program that provides housing for the people of Melbourne without homes."
