Kate Winslet stunned guests at a private dinner in honour of Michelle Williams by revealing she's been having an imaginary "love affair" with the actress for years.
The Titanic beauty held a dinner and screening for Williams' highly-anticipated new movie Blue Valentine earlier this week (begs29Nov10) in front of a star-studded New York crowd, including Kim Cattrall, Hope Davis and Judd Hirsch.
And before introducing the film, Winslet revealed she harbours a secret - she was so in awe of Williams' acting talents that she created a make-believe friendship between the pair in her head.
Winslet told the amused revellers, "From a distance, I feel as though I've actually been having a secret love affair with Michelle. She and I are quite intimate in my fantasy friendship built on admiration and respect.
"I'm talking about her acting, of course."
