Kate Winslet's publicist has confirmed reports the actress is a new mom, revealing she actually gave birth on Saturday (07Dec13) but insisted on keeping the baby news from the press for a couple of days.
The child, her second son, was born at a hospital in Sussex, England.
Her rep says, "Mother and baby are doing great."
The baby is the first child for Winslet and her third husband Ned Rocknroll, who she wed a year ago (Dec12).
