Judy Greer to release humorous book

Actress Judy Greer is the latest funnywoman to land a lucrative book deal.

The Descendants star has signed a deal to release a humorous collection of essays through publishers Random House.

Editor Christina Malach says, "We've known for years what a wonderful actor Judy is but... it's rare to find a first book that has this kind of humour, insight and, most of all, a relatable and endearing voice."

The book, called I Don't Know What You Know Me From: Confessions of a Co-Star, will be released in 2014.
