It is not clear exactly what Hudson will be doing at the Oscars, but announcing the news via Twitter.com on Tuesday (10Feb15), it's clear she's thrilled: "I'm excited to announce that @TheAcademy has invited me to perform on the #Oscars on Feb. 22nd!"
