Rap superstar Jay-Z and his rocker pal Chris Martin will welcome the New Year (13) onstage at the Barclays Center in New York.
The 99 Problems star and Martin's band Coldplay will play a gig for New Year's Eve (31Dec12) revellers at the arena in Jay-Z's native Brooklyn.
The hip-hop star launched the new venue in September (12) with eight sold-out concerts.
