British actor Jamie Campbell Bower was admitted to hospital on Sunday (05Jan14) after injuring his eye in a freak accident.
The Twilight star took to his Twitter.com account to let his fans know about his hospital trip after damaging the surface of his eyeball while using a facial scrub.
In a series of posts, he writes, "Love a Sunday night in A&E (the hospital's accident and emergency department) due to eye issues. Ck. Wk. Ae. Ts. Blocks. Cheers face scrub... Feels like my right eye has been involved in a God awful pornographic movie. Can't open it without something sticky or crusty making a noise... It ain't conjunctivitis just FYI (for your information). I have gone (and) scratched the surface of my eyeball like an absolute boss. Eye(sic) am a t."
