Persian businesswoman Simin Hashemizadeh, owner of the South Pacific Surgery Centers, purchased an Anthony Noble portrait of the actress for $25,000 and then insisted Pinkett Smith took it home with her.
A spokesman for the event said, "Jada had wanted to buy it."
