Singer/actress Hilary Duff is in mourning following the death of her beloved dog.
The former Lizzie McGuire star revealed her Chihuahua Lola, who has been ill for years, had passed away in a tweet to fans on Tuesday (25Jun13).
In a post on Twitter.com, she writes, "RIP my beautiful Lola girl. my heart is broken. Say a prayer for my little angel."
She also thanked followers for offering their support, adding, "Thank you for all your well wishes for my beautiful Lola. it really means so much when you a (are) hurting to know so many people care."
