Hayden Panettiere and Julia Roberts reunited on Wednesday night (12Oct11) at the Los Angeles premiere of their much-delayed movie Fireflies In The Garden.
The drama, which also stars Ryan Reynolds, was first screened at the Berlin Film Festival in 2008 and was subsequently shown in a limited number of European cinemas, but it failed to pick up a domestic distributor.
After three years, the film is finally being shown in cinemas, and the actresses reunited on the red carpet at the Hollywood launch on Wednesday.
Roberts tells ET Online, "A moment like this takes patience and effort. Making a small film is harder than it used to be. (I'm) happy to be here."
Panettiere adds, "We went to the Berlin Film Festival with it and walked the red carpet there, and the fact that we're here now celebrating its opening is really cool. It's a walk through the past."
