Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced the news of their marriage split while enjoying a sun-soaked family vacation together in the Bahamas, according to reports.
The celebrity couple hit headlines on Tuesday (25Mar14) when a statement posted on Paltrow's Goop.com website confirmed they had parted ways after a decade of marriage.
It has now emerged the news broke while the stars reportedly enjoyed a luxury holiday together with their two children, Apple, nine, and Moses, seven, on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
A source tells Dailymail.co.uk, "Going away together may seem unusual but that's Gwyneth and Chris. Foremost they want the kids to see they mean business about remaining a family, and another... they want to miss the fallout... They're communicating again, they're having a glass of wine together and a laugh and were actually looking forward to the holiday."
