Gwen Stefani to host Obama family day

Gwen Stefani is opening up her Beverly Hills home for First Lady Michelle Obama to host a fundraising gala.

The Don't Speak singer has become the latest star to front a fundraiser for leader President Barack Obama's re-election campaign, following recent parties co-hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker and George Clooney.

Her event, which is scheduled for 12 August (12), offers families the chance to hang out with the two famous mums for an afternoon.

A $5,000 donation to the President's campaign buys family time with Stefani and her special guest, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
