He appeared at London's City of Westminster magistrates court on Friday (25Mar11) and the case was committed to trial, with the 21 year old due back at Southwark Crown Court on 26 April (11).
Gilmour was freed on bail on the condition that he does not enter the London borough of the City of Westminster without prior approval.
His solicitor has indicated the charge will be contested, although a plea has yet to be officially entered.
