The movie also shows frontman Caleb turning to alcohol and drugs as he struggles to cope with their success, as well as his older brother Nathan's anger over his substance abuse.
In one scene on the tourbus, the drummer shouts at Caleb, "You get so fking drunk and talk st. Your band cannot stand you. You have got to get your fking self together! We have made you, you piece of st!
"You've got to realize how much you are talking s**t to people who love you the most and made you who you are!"
The bust-up prompted Caleb to turn his life around, but the rocker admits he doesn't regret his darker days.
He says, "Now I'm living a lot better. I went out and I tried it. I'd rather have done it then than get to 50 and do it. I don't feel the need to do drugs and this and that now but I'm glad I did it all."
