Dedicated fans of Latin heartthrob Romeo Santos have launched an online petition calling for bosses at Madame Tussauds to immortalise him in wax.
The New York-born musician is the focus of a new campaign on Change.org which calls for executives at the Big Apple branch of the chain to install a tribute.
A statement posted on the page by the petition's creator reads, "It is by request and high demand that Romeo Santos truly deserves this wax figure to honour his great success... He truly deserves a place at The Madame Tussauds in New York City."
Santos also took to Twitter.com to share a link to the petition, which had garnered more than 5,000 signatures as WENN went to press.
Officials at Madame Tussauds have yet to respond.
