Eva Longoria learns her TV comedy has been axed at Cannes

Eva Longoria had mixed emotions at the Cannes Film Festival in France on Friday (13May16) after learning her TV comedy had been canceled.

New show Telenovela, which critics initially warmed to, was among a slate of series axed by bosses at NBC on Friday, while the lovely Latina was enjoying the sun at Cannes.

Eva attended the Money Monster premiere on Thursday (12May16) and she was also spotted at the glitzy Vanity Fair party.

Looking happy and posing for pictures with fans, she showed no sign that her new TV comedy, about life behind the scenes of a Spanish-language soap, was in danger.
