Eva Longoria helping children's initiative

She tells Ok! Magazine, "I grew up with a special needs sister, and I started Eva's Heroes, which is an after-school program for developmentally disabled kids. So this is a natural extension... My hero is my sister. She really taught me about compassion and helping others. People think you have to be rich, famous or a celebrity to be philanthropic. It's not true."
