Eric Roberts has assured fans his actress daughter Emma is "fine" and doing "good" following her arrest in Canada earlier this month (07Jul13).
Emma Roberts was detained by police following an alleged fight with her boyfriend Evan Peters in a hotel in Montreal.
She was released hours later after Peters, who was left with a bloodied nose, refused to press charges.
Roberts' famous father Eric has now spoken out about the Scream 4 star's problems, admitting he hasn't seen the 22 year old since the incident, but they spoke and he is adamant she is doing well.
Speaking at the premiere of new movie Blue Jasmine in Los Angeles on Wednesday (24Jul13), he told reporters, "She's fine. We spoke. She's good."
The young couple is currently filming TV drama American Horror Story together and they were spotting smiling, hugging and kissing on the set in New Orleans, Louisiana on Friday (26Jul13).
A representative for the actress previously called the incident a "misunderstanding" and insisted the stars are "working together to move past it".
